About

My family: Jenny, Dylan, & Joel

First and foremost I am a follower of Jesus and then a husband to my wife Jenny (Pretty Princess), we made a covenant in front of our Lord on August 5, 2006. It was one of the greatest days in my life. I am so glad she is in my life and tolerates some of the things that I do, mainly opening the hole on the side of my head without thinking about the words that come out of it.

I have three sons (Joe 24, Dylan 4, Ethan 4 months), I also have two grand-daughters (Aubrey 2 & Madilynn 1). Being a father is the most challenging experience that I have faced, but the most joyful and rewarding. As far as a grandpa, well let’s just say I’m still realizing that I am aging.

Friends are something that I believe in. I cherish the ones that I have and I’m always interested in creating new relationships. If we want to grow as a community, local or global, we need to have a common bond and that starts with a solid relationship with others anchored by faith in Jesus and reaching out to others that don’t have that relationship.

My relationship with Jesus (a seed being planted) probably started at a young age, but I was blinded by selfishness, pride, & heartache. It wasn’t until November 8, 2000, that I submitted my life to the Lord, well overdue. I was tired of living a life of uncertainty and sin. In the past nine years I wasn’t the most faithful believer, but if there is one thing that is certain when you become a member of the Lord’s family it’s for eternity. Even though I turned towards a life of  sin for awhile he was there when I decided to come home, like a father longing for his son.
